It’s my goal to go to each one. I’ve already gone to some. One thing I’m a little proud of doing was getting all on five bridges around the bay area. Cool!

Alcatraz Island boat rides and prison tours – Alcatraz Island prison is an incredible experience which can be seen from private charters or toured from Alcatraz boat tours. Cruise the beautiful Bay on a guided boat ride galore & see beautiful views of the bay and Marin County.

Muir Woods – Beautiful forests; same place where Star Wars:New Hope was shot in, with those Ewoks. Ha.

Fisherman’s Wharf – great tourist place, fresh crabs off the markets, clam chowder. Great place to be people-watching, which I love doing.

Napa Valley Wine Country – The world’s premier wine growing region is a great way to enjoy sunny Napa wine tastings or ride the Napa Valley Wine Train.

Union Square Shopping – If you really must shop, go here– but you may want to avoid the hordes of pushy crowds. The 2nd biggest tourist trap in the City with a brand new San Francisco shopping center.

AT&T baseball stadium – where San Francisco Giants play at

Candlestick Stadium – where 49ers play

San Francisco Zoo – Great family activity with reasonable temperatures, lions, tigers, elephants, giraffes, a petting zoo and more….

Castro District – Gay Village Celebrate one of America’s largest gay communities in the sunny Castro district.

Cable Car Rides – San Francisco’s world famous cable cars are the “funnest” form of public transit!

Golden Gate Bridge – A beautiful bridge to walk, roller-blade, bike, or just view from your car.

Walk through Chinatown & North Beach> – walked through Little Italy, Chinatown to get to the SF shopping center. Stopped by for a beer too. Man, gotta love beers.

Twin Peaks – Amazing 360 degree San Francisco views from the highest hilltop

Sausalito – a charming Bay-front town with shops, restaurants, and sweeping views of the San Francisco Bay. Accessible easily via commuter ferries.

Haight Street Neighborhood – Hippie area made famous by the 1960’s… now with incredible people watching, but a relatively scummy area with a lot of panhandling and high-on teens.

Lombard Street – America’s Crookedest Street! Lombard Street is so crooked, it must be seen to be believed. Plan to park and see it, as jams exist to drive it…

Ghiradelli Square – Chocolate Factory San Francisco’s best chocolate at the site of historic factory

Marina Green and Presidio Park – A long flat strip along the bay with a view of Alcatraz teems with joggers, rollerbladers, and bikers and a beautiful palace at the end. Enjoy a beach walk along restored Crissy Field; a historic tour; or sunny Baker Beach…

Pacific Heights – has steep hills to make you sweat to see those beautiful Victorian homes – including Danielle Steele’s with great cafe’s, shops, and restaurants too.

Golden Gate Park – This beautiful, large & safe park, located in the more remote western area of the city includes a new deYoung Art Museum and miles of paths.

Museums – San Francisco has some of the best science and art museums anywhere — featuring the amazing fish of the San Francisco Aquarium.
