What separates pro golfers from amateurs or wanna-be like me?

One of my good golfer friends told me this: your putting and mental game.

Right. And I suck at those very areas. Oh well, at least it’s fun to play.

Suggestion: Start counting your putts. You will see some improvement by reducing the numbers of putts.

Another thing, they put too much emotion on golf. They usually think that they could shoot 70s. Even though players shoot high 90s or low 100s, Usually I get the words from those players, “My putt was terrible”, “off on wood”, “could have this” “could have that”, etc etc. Pardon me, that is your average and what’s your problem? :)

Of course, I always enjoy playing the golf. Never saw “same” game!!

Ha, you certainly know what it’s like. I get that all the time too. My average is around 87. Trying to get it down to 80. Have to focus and give your best on each single shot.
